Copenhagen

Work at night. The city by day.

I lived in an immigrant neighbourhood outside Copenhagen while working on museum projects. Working at night left us free to explore during the day. I also remember the many wonderful people we met.

We visited museums, sought out artworks and learned the rhythm of the city. Christiania and Copenhagen’s food drew us in. This painting depicts one of the city’s streets.

Dark façades and slender towers meet a cool sky and a band of orange light. The photographs show the painting both unframed and in an ornate frame; I confirm the framing arrangements before purchase.
